PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
It used to be that only modders had LCDs in their rigs.
They had the time and the knowledge to wire these displays into a 5.25"
bay. The average user was almost always envious… and justifiably so.
Those days are pretty more over, though. True, modders continue to creatively
hook up displays in their systems, but now, the average user can purchase
relatively inexpensive, preconfigured LCDs also.
The beauty of LCDs is that it allows users to get a quick
report on their system, be it the temperature, the HDD space, the network
activity, etc… Depending on the software package that comes with the
LCD, you may be able to also accomplish a whole lot more.

Today, I will be reviewing the Lost In Space (L.I.S.)
VFD Blue Platinum from VL System. It has a lot of potential, and at
first glance, I am impressed with the bundled software. I already own
a Matrix Orbital MX222, which I have grown to love. This is not to imply
I am biased… but rather to state that I know what an LCD can accomplish
and so will be putting the L.I.S. through its paces.
