SAPPHIRE TOXIC RADEON HD4850 VIDEOCARD (21-10-2008)
Overall, Sapphire's attempt to make an already fast card pack even more punch while keeping it cool and quiet can easily be summed to be a success. Sapphire's TOXIC HD4850 version blends a good amount of looking cool while running remarkably cool as well.

XFX FATAL1TY GEFORCE OVERCLOCKED 7600 GT VIDEOCARD (23-07-2007)
At first I wasn't expecting much from a passively cooled and overclocked mainstream videocard. To be honest, I thought it was a recipe for product disaster. Surprisingly, this card held out just fine and in some cases surpassed my expectations by a large margin. This card packs much more punch than I would expect out of a mainstream videocard. It is stable, it is dead silent, and with proper case ventilation and cleaning shouldn't be a concern to use for a long period of time. Plus let's not forget that when placed inside a windowed case it will look great as well.

HIS RADEON ICEQ TURBO X1650XT 256MEG PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (12-07-2007)
For the dollar, this HIS's overclocked version of the X1650XT brings a lot of performance to the table for a small amount of money. There is no manufacturer on the market that gives you more in a mainstream package than HIS. This is why I have grown to respect this company for what they give to their customers in terms of quality and quantity. If you are in the mainstream market for a card, you owe yourself the time to check this card out.

HIS ICEQ3 RADEON X1950 PRO 256MEG PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (09-07-2007)
This videocard has more or less everything that a gamer needs other than a sufficient amount of onboard memory. Although this card looks great, comes with a complete hardware bundle and software package with a full version game, it all means nothing when a card is hampered with a lack of sufficient memory for today's gaming environment.

SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON X1950 PRO AGP VIDEOCARD (02-07-2007)
Overall, this videocard is an excellent replacement for anyone trying to get an extra year or so out of their exist AGP enabled computer. For a small US$180 investment, you can game with the rest of them and enjoy comfortable framerates from a computer that some companies are trying to convince you is "out of date" which you know is completely false.

ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON X1900 PCI EXPRESS 256MEG VIDEOCARD (29-11-2006)
This card, much like its older brothers, is an excellent all around card for a user needing an multimedia card that can also be used for gaming. To boil it down, this card has it all. It is too bad that this will be the last of a breed that has dominated the multimedia market with such force that all rivals were laughed off of the market before they even left the white paper.

SAPPHIRE RADEON X1650 PRO VIDEOCARD (12-10-2006)
When contemplating my upcoming review of the X1650 PRO, I considered this card to perform exactly like the X1600 PRO tested earlier. They are essentially the same other than the different core and its' slightly smaller manufacturing process. Now add in the fact that it is lacking one texture unit and I was also contemplating maybe even a slight decrease. But surprisingly, the card performed well beyond my expectations...

SAPPHIRE RADEON X1300 XT OVERCLOCKED EDITION 256MEG VIDEOCARD (02-10-2006)
When Sapphire first contacted me to review this X1300XT, I'll have to admit I was not looking forward to it. All my previous budget videocard reviews have been predictably slow and boring to review. This card to say the least has been a surprise. Think of this lower end and cost effective option to be that little kid in your neighborhood that you have picked on only once, had your ass kicked and learned your lesson. That is what this card has done to me. I underestimated it.

SAPPHIRE ULTIMATE ATI RADEON X1600PRO 256MEG PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (08-06-2006)
Today I will be reviewing Sapphire's latest x1600pro mainstream videocard which is more or less just like their standard version with a tweaked, low noise heatpipe cooling solution. Stay tuned, if you are in the market for a quiet mainstream videocard, this card might be perfect for you machine.

SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON X1900XTX 512MEG PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (31-05-2006)
As ATI's current top videocard, the X1900XTX through testing and benchmarking can easily be seen as an extremely fast videocard and indeed the fastest we have ever tested here on Tweaknews.net. With all its advanced features and shader capabilities, purchasing this videocard will indeed give you the grunt to muscle your way through every current game along with many future games coming out this year. There is no doubt that this is the ATI based card to have for this generation.

ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON X1800XL PCI EXPRESS MULTIMEDIA VIDEO CARD (20-12-2005)
This card like all its older predecessors is just another notch in the corner post in the multimedia videocard market where ATI is still dominating with a product that gives any weak competition the "who's your daddy" as soon as they enter the room.

ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON X800XL PCI EXPRESS MULTIMEDIA VIDEO CARD (25-11-2005)
While finally summing up this product review, it seems that ATI has this segment of the market so perfected that all that is needed is to add a new core and they have yet another AIW option to dominate a market segment with. Sure the standard videocards are getting some still competition from Nvidia, but when it comes to the multimedia cards, ATI is laughing all the way to the bank.

HIGHTECH (HIS) RADEON X700 128MEG AGP VIDEOCARD (16-11-2005)
There is no way I am going to put this card down. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this card if you consider its' targeted consumer genre. This card is meant to be a value based premium graphics card with exceptional cooling and overclocking potential. What more could you ask for when you are laying down US$139. Sure there might be cheaper, but I bet it isn't as loaded as this model.

HIGHTECH (HIS) RADEON X800GTO TURBO PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (01-11-2005)
With the release of the GT and the GTO recently, one has to ask why ATI didn't just release the GTO and make the choice as simple as possible. The price difference is mininal but the performance difference is very noticeable. In stock trim the card will be an excellent upgrade. But while overclocked, the card becomes an incredible value and even challenges and even surpasses the full 16 pipeline X800XL in some benchmarks.

HIGHTECH (HIS) RADEON X800GT TURBO PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (03-10-2005)
So who is this videocard targeted for? It is getting harder and harder to say really. Seems that ATI is going to try to stick as many two letter version releases at the end of the X800 line before it is rendered obsolete in the upcoming months. If you were thinking because of the GT tag that this card is an enthusiast card, you will quickly that it is indeed a low to mid-range mainstream card. Does this mean it is a slacker?....... Oh HELLLLLL no.

HIGHTECH (HIS) ATI RADEON X850XT 256MEG AGP VIDEOCARD (18-07-2005)
As the savior for all those consumers with buyer remorse that invested in a AGP based computer, you still have options that will have you gaming right along with even the best of what most PCI Express cards have to offer. If you do not have enough money to upgrade your whole system to the newest hardware, you can easily just upgrade to this AGP card and buy yourself the time to make your computer last and still have an excellent gaming experience

ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON X800XT AGP MULTIMEDIA VIDEO CARD (30-06-2005)
Dollar for dollar, you still just can't beat the value and features compressed into this one computer peripheral. It's a TV, it's a top notch gaming card, it's an FM Radio, it's a personal video recorder, well, I guess it is pretty darn well everything. You buy it, you install it and instantly your drab, boring computer has an amazing amount of potential and power needed to turn it into an excellent gamer or a home theater system.

HIS RADEON X800XL ICEQII 256MEG PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (08-03-2005)
It looks great, it performs exceptionally well for a performance value solution and it has included cooling not even seen on more expensive x800/850XT alternatives. It didn't matter what I threw at it, even at the highest quality and 1280x1024 resolution, the card just toyed around with every benchmark and gaming scenario and taunted my to push it some more.

ATI RADEON X800XT PLATINUM EDITION 256MEG AGP VIDEOCARD (18-01-2005)
To be completely honest, this product has done both. The card is a definite winner when regarding it from a performance standpoint. Its' exceptional benchmarking and power is something you should definitely be considered and admired, but I just can't get a couple major nagging issues out of the back of my mind. What are they you ask?

HIS RADEON X700 PRO ICEQ TURBO 256MEG VIVO PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (09-01-2005)
I have to be honest, when I first starting testing this videocard, I wasn't exactly expecting anything significant other than maybe a little higher benchmarking than a X600pro. What I actually encountered was an excellent performing videocard loaded with extra hardware and software, yet still has a MSRP US$199 pricetag seen associated with even the...

ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON X600 PRO PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (24-12-2004)
The All in Wonder X600 pro in its' stock form would be deemed a safe buy if you were interested in full course buffet of multimedia features with a small side order of gaming. Although the card will easily handle older games with relative ease and acceptable framerates, I would not purchase this card if you were interested in playing the best games...

ALBATRON TRINITY GEFORCE PCX 5750 PCI EXPRESS 128MEG VIDEOCARD (22-11-2004)
The Albatron Trinity PCX 5750 would be the perfect card for someone in need of a videocard which is faster than budget, but not as expensive as mainstream. The card was always completely stable during normal use and oddly during overclocking and I never once had one single artifact throughout my extensive gaming and benchmarking.

NVIDIA GEFORCE 6800GT PCI EXPRESS 256MEG VIDEOCARD (16-11-2004)
Overall, the card is quiet compared to its older brother, comes with excellent single slot stock cooling, thrashes frame rates faster than anything I have ever seen in my lab and let's not forget if you pick up another one you can slide both of them in the new Nforce4 SLI motherboards for more rendering power than you will need month or even years to come.

ATI RADEON X300 REFERENCE PCI EXPRESS VIDEOCARD (26-09-2004)
What I will be stating is that if you are moving to the new Intel LGA775 specification or the new Athlon64 PCI Express motherboard and you just need a basic 2D videocard, the X300 based alternatives on the market will make you more than happy. If you are even considering gaming, do yourself a favor and upgrade to an X600 if you want some decent playable..

HIS EXCALIBUR RADEON X600XT LIMITED EDITION PCI-E VIDEOCARD (19-09-2004)
HIS's X600XT proved to be an excellent choice if you looking at a more affordable option, but still want an excellent card with some excellent features. In this case, the software bundle was second to none and the additional perks like the ramsinks and large VPU cooler will allow the buyer to squeeze a little more free performance out of this videocard for the dollar.

HIS EXCALIBUR RADEON 9550 IFAN VIVO EDITION VIDEOCARD (13-08-2004)
When it comes to mainstream videocards, you buyer has to know that a card cannot be deemed poor if it doesn't blow every game and benchmark out of the water. What you have to consider is the performance to value ratio. In the case of the Excalibur Radeon 9550 reviewed today, you just cannot ask for more performance.....

HIS EXCALIBUR X800 PRO ICEQII VIVO LIMITED EDITION VIDEOCARD (27-07-2004)
What you will be seeing today is the next edition of HIS's IceQ line called the IceQII. Utilizing ATI's next generation X800 video processors, HIS intends to pick where the initial 9x00pro based videocards left off and continue dominating the market with a videocard which is matched by none and envied by many.

CHAINTECH GEFORCE FX5500 256MEG VIDEOCARD (07-06-2004)
Chaintech's FX5500 is a great little video card with lots of spunk. The 256MB DDR will help boost your system so that you can play newer games (look how well it did with Jedi Knight II). It's a solid card which performed quite well in our benchmarks. Considering the extra RAM and the fact that it's a 128-bit card, I had expected it to outperform the 128MB 64-bit 9600SE..

HIGHTECH EXCALIBUR RADEON 9200SE VIDEOCARD (03-06-2004)
What this card is offering is a very cost effective solution to a person needing the great 2D quality ATI is know for, allow the user to have fully functional VIVO capabilities and do some very minor gaming from time to time. If you want a cheap, full featured videocard for your new work machine, you should check out this option.

ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON 9600XT VIDEOCARD (11-05-2004)
You can't ignore the fact that this card brings an unbelievable amount of potential to an everyday computer. Instead of just using your computer to surf the web, game and catch up on your work, you can transform that ordinary work box into a complete multimedia center complete with countless audio/video inputs and outputs, a television..

HIS EXCALIBUR PLATINUM RADEON 9600 DUAL-DVI 256MEG VIDEOCARD (15-04-2004)
With 256Megs of texture memory and full dual DVI connection support for US$149, the Excalibur Radeon 9600 is targeted towards the price conscious consumer that is in need of a good upgrade for their workstation, wants to game from time to time and have some money left in their wallet.

CHAINTECH APOGEE AA5700U FX5700 ULTRA VIDEOCARD (09-04-2004)
The AA5700U has impressed me from the initial glance to the final repackaging back into its product box. It looks great, is very well built, has great looking and performing cooling solution and overclocks like a Teddy Ruxpin on a car battery. You just can't get a better package.

ATI ALL IN WONDER 9600 MULTIFUNCTION VIDEOCARD (25-03-2004)
The All in Wonder 9600 fills a rather wide performance gap between the AIW 9200 and the AIW 9600pro/xt and is targeted towards the mainstream consumer that want a boat load of multimedia features and fully compliant DX9 gaming, but also with a pricetag that is equally attractive.

ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON 9200 MULTIFUNCTION VIDEOCARD (03-03-2004)
If you a very occasional gamer that want acceptable 3D performance, but still wants all the great features associated with an All in Wonder videocard, you will not find a videocard that will give you a bigger bang for the buck than this card. Hell, even the bundled software is worth more than US$150 bucks.

ATI RADEON 9600XT 128MEG VIDEOCARD (25-02-2004)
The 9600XT certainly is the mainstream card to buy. I tested it in many games while I was working on this review, from Vietcong to Morrowind to Need For Speed: Underground and then some. With tweaked-out settings, and the highest texture settings, my testbed never slowed down once, not even in the worst sandstorm in Morrowind.

HIS EXCALIBUR RADEON 9600XT PLATINUM TURBO VIDEOCARD (18-02-2004)
With value, performance, good looks and overclocking ability wrapped into one tidy package, the HIS 9600XT Turbo in my mind would be a good deal for anyone looking to save a couple or buck without the cut in features. From the minute I opened the box, this card has been nothing but a pleasant surprise with features and aesthetics usually reserved for cards with...

HIS EXCALIBUR ICEQ 256MEG DDR2 RADEON 9800PRO VIDEOCARD(12-01-2004)
The Excalibur IceQ 9800 pro embodies everything I have ever wanted in a videocard. The card is packed full of 256megs of fast DDR2, includes a quiet and efficient monster cooler and for once there are memory sinks installed throughout the card. The performance numbers and results would easily make even the pickiest of gamers happy with the ability to handle...

HIS RADEON 9600SE 128MEG VIVO VIDEOCARD (17-12-2003)
Before you buy any computer component, it is very important to do your homework and consider what you need (versus what you want… or crave… or drool over, in my case). If you do not need a $350 video card, why would you buy one? If you are not apt to use all of its features, then save yourself a couple hundred bucks and buy something that isn't as powerful.

CHAINTECH FX-71 GEFORCE FX5600 ULTRA VIDEOCARD (30-10-2003)
With not a single corner cut, the great looks and industry leading cooling technology coupled with great performance and a great software and accessory package makes the FX-71 an excellent videocard to put on your short list if you are considering a mainstream targeted videocard.

ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 9600PRO REVIEW (16-10-2003)
ATI has successfully filled every possible sector with an All-in-Wonder option that is bound to please anyone with any wallet size. With great performance and a very good pricetag, the All-in-Wonder 9600pro is bound to be one of the most sought after stocking stuffers for the 2003 Christmas season.

PALIT DAYTONA GEFORCE FX5200 ULTRA VIDEOCARD (20-08-2003)
For a lower end model, this card was actually a little fun to review. It performed reasonably well as long as you left it at 1024x768 with no antialiasing, and gave a FX5600 a good run for it's money. Add in the fact that the card overclocks extremely well and is packed with fast memory and you have yourself a budget hidden gem for the mainstream market.

ALBATRON GIGI FX5600EQ 256MEG VIDEOCARD (18-08-2003)
With lackluster gaming and benchmarking performance across the board, I wouldn't recommend this card as a feasible purchase for the hefty pricetag of around US$150. Doing a little research around the net will show you that ATI's 9600pro is cheaper, overclocks much better and pretty well out performs any FX5600 on the market today."

ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 9800PRO VIDEOCARD(22-07-2003)
With no competition in sight, ATI's All-in-Wonder 9800pro is nothing less than a dream card for the computer enthusiast. Not only does it handle any game on the market with the quality at maximum, it does so with amazing framerates. Gaming aside, you just have to understand the capabilities of this card for it's price.

ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 9000 PRO VIDEOCARD(06-06-2003)
ATI decided to release an all-in-one videocard for the rest of us common folk in the world, the All-in-Wonder 9000pro. As you will see in this review, this card has every single capability as its faster, more expensive brother. If you don't need a bleeding edge performance videocard, I think the US$199 you pay for this card will be a solid investment.

ATI ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 9700 PRO VIDEOCARD (15-04-2003)
Being ATI's feature rich flagship videocard, the ALL-in-Wonder Radeon 9700 pro encompasses everything that the gaming enthusiast, multimedia professional and/or everyday computer user desires. It performs great out of the box and practically will handle any game out there with ease.

ALBATRON GEFORCE 4 MX480 8X AGP VIDEOCARD (07-03-2003)
"Seems like all you hear about in the hardware world is the high end cards. But are these cards for the everyday gamer, nope. Do you think that most people have US$200-$400 to spend on one component, nope. People today like to have a blend of value and performance and that is where the Alabatron MX480 delivers.

ALBATRON GEFORCE 4 MX440 VIDEOCARD (14-09-2002)
Do you like great gaming, great features, TV-out, Optional DVI output, and a pretty good software bundle, well, I might have an option for you. The Geforce 4 MX440 is the upper end of the budget based Geforce 4 lineup and isn't a slouch in the performance for value ratio. To aid in exposing a great budget lineup of cards, Albatron was kind enough to supply us with a sample of their Geforce4 MX 440.

ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON 7500 VIDEOCARD (02-04-2002)
This is is not a pure gaming card, it is a multifunctional card with more features than you wil ever want to have packed into a product. But for kicks, I wanted to get a benchmark to see just how it performs on my Athlon 1300 with 512 megs of PC133 ram installed ...
