PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Lately, I’ve been HDD obsessed. It seems like I never have enough room, or enough drives. As a recording engineer, my space needs are quite large. However, opening my rig up, rerouting cabling, mounting drives, and tidying up again afterwards is a royal pain. So much so, that I let a new 750gb drive sit in the box for a few weeks. What I needed was an easy way to install a drive, without all the hassle that project normally involves.
Luckily for me, the Man in Brown showed up on my doorstep with the new Kingwin Z1 series HDD enclosure. Promising easy drive installation, USB and E-SATA connectivity, and good looks, the Z1 came to my rescue at just the right time. Follow along with me, as we see how well it does its job.
