PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Now everyone knows that Altec Lansing makes some very
affordable and powerful speakers for everyday computer user and gamer,
but what is less known in the market is they also make excellent headphones
and personal audio equipment. I myself didn't even know they sold headsets
until they approached me to review their new AHS602 gaming headset pictured
above.
If you are a serious gamer, you ALWAYS have to have a
high quality set of gaming headphones to compliment your computer speaker
system in times where silence is golden. These are usually when you
are sneaking a late night round of Doom 3 without the parents permission,
attending a Lanparty or just want to be completely immersed into the
gaming experience without being interrupted by outside noises and distractions.
The headset being reviewed today brings other features
to the gaming environment like a high quality microphone, a remote volume
and mute capabilities along with simulated 3D audio Passive Noise reduction
and surround sound.
Let's see how I enjoyed them.
